Do I need to de-acquire Callpilot agent before changing to Access port

Do I need to de-acquire Callpilot agents before changing them to ACCESS or Give IVR ports? I am wondering if logging them out in Channel monitor will de-acquirie the agents?
 
Always deacquire a port that has been acquired via symposium or CallPilot before any changes to programming are made. In the case of access ports those are acquired by symposium and not callpilot..

Shut down call pilot
change port
acquire ports in symposium
reboot callpilot

You will need to run through the config wizard to reconfigure callpilot. I would do this before shutting down to reboot.
