I've created a tiny image in FW to be exported into larger cells in dreamweaver but when I try to export it, it stays the same size rather than doing what I want and duplicating to fill the space.

Is there something I have to do in Fireworks that will affect this/make it do what I want, or should this be a dreamweaver question?

P.S - extra brownie points to anyone who can tell me what 'resolution' means when starting a new document in fireworks - it's not explained in the manual & it's been puzzling me for days now.

Cheers

resolution is simply the amount of dots per inch per say. IF you are making an image for web then 72 is optimal, if you are making and image for print then 300 is necessary. as for tiling the image will tile in the browser once you put it in the cell <td background-image=&quot;yourimage.jpg>blah</td> your image will tile here.
