In static textfields the font is usually automatically embedded, thus all should see the same font. In dynamic textfields, you have to manually embed the font to ensure that all will see the same font. Device fonts can't be embedded, and thus may vary from one machine to the other.
As I said, if you avoid device fonts and use static textfields, the font should automatically be embedded, thus seen the same by all. If you manually embed the font used in dynamic textfields, then again all should see the same font.
I'm on PC, if you provide a link to some text test movie, I can confirm if I see the same or not. Not too sure what Gill (which by the way is my name) Sans looks like, maybe use a more particular font, script or something really obviously different.
yea those are the font... while your at it could you give me any design critiques you may have... i haven't had anyone look at it yet so it would be nice to get some feedback...
