I'm looking at building a CCC server and a VMPRO 12-port server. Each will be a dedicated tower. The OS will be Windows Server 2003 Standard (with the standard 5 user CAL's that come with the OS.) Do I need to worry about CAL's for the 12-port VMPRO server? Or the 25-agent CCC server?

The CAL controls the number of PC's that can connect to the OS, so it would restrict the number of CCC client machines that can connect. it would not adffect the number of VM prorts or the number of CCC agents that can be supported.

Cals will effect the CCC i.e number of PC wall boards connected to the CCC server number of CCV clienrs and PC wallboard clients.

Voice mail ports are not effected. however it may effect the number of IMS clients that connect to the server if you were using IMS of cause
