Iam using Solaris 8 and BIND 8.X when i use named-bootconf command it does not convert my named.boot to named.conf.
Can some one help me out .

I am assuming you mean namedboot-conf.pl ??
Any errors reported ?

I'll ask the "HelpDesk101" question - the script "namedboot-conf.pl" is not a command and requires Perl to be installed....yah have Perl installed, right?
 
Yeah and if you are trying to run the script as a command you need to be sure to use the "sha-bang":

or wherever your perl is installed as the first line of the script. --Derek
