DNS zone issue. Can't ping

I created a standard primary zone. I am Unable to ping "domain.com", but I Can ping the alias "

http://www.domain.com"

and "ftp.domain.com"

any ideas? thanks

Is this inside or outside of your firewall ?

Could be an access list issue

You would need to have a blank entry for "domain.com" using a A record pointing to the IP of your choice.

I did have the blank A originally...
I wound up reloading the zone (right click - reload), everything is ok now.
