I am trying to register a domain name with Internic and have a question regarding the correct IP to provide them.

I currently have a DSL connection supporting 4 computers via a router. My ISP has given me I 1 public IP address. My internal network (which contains my DNS) is only accessible through a port map on the DSL router. When I register my domain name with Internic, what IP address do I give them for my name server? The only viable one would be the public IP on my router but I don't know if that will do the trick.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ask your ISP for more IP addresses. You need an IP address for your DNS server which is the one you give the INTERNIC.
