Hello, I am new to Server 2008 and studying for the Server 2008 AD Configuration cert.

I was able to set up 2 servers with ServerA being the primary DNS server, and ServerB being the backup. I was able to get replication working just fine.

My question is: Do Stub Zones replicate as well?

I am able to create the stub zones on the primary server (ServerA)but do not see a way to replicate them to the back up DNS server (ServerB). I am having to manually create them on ServerB.

The Stub Zones I am create are for google.com. I am doing this just for lab practice so no real reason why I picked google.

Added note: when I go to the properties for google.com under the Forward Lookup zones, and go to the General tab, these are the settings:
Status: Running
Type: Stub
Replication: All DNS server in this domain

A stub zone, like a Primary or Secondary zone can be stored in AD if you select that option.

To replicate the zone, right click on the zone and open Properties. On the General Tab select the "Change..." button next to "Type:". In the child window, select or de-select "Store the zone in Active Directory". You can also choose the replication scope based on your needs (i.e. All DCs in forest / All DCs in domain).
