Hey Guys,

When I install DNS on my windows NT server. After restarting, the service doesnot start and when I try to start it manually, it gives me this error:

Error 0002: The system cannot find the file specified

Help me resolve this issue techyz

Best Regards,
Adnan Shaikh

Maybe 'completely delete the DNS and reinstall it' is a good try.
1. In network properties-->add/remove service you can remove the DNS service
2. Delete all the contents under system32/DNS folder
3. Delete DNS registry entry in Registry Table
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\SERVICES\DNS

Please backup your registry table before you make any change to it.
