If I have 2 virtual domain controllers/DNS and I'm going to keep the third 10 year old physical one also. My question is about setting up the DNS servers when configuring the Static IP's. Should I mix match them?

For instance:

Server1 = Primary DNS 128.100.11.2 Secondary DNS 128.100.11.3
Server2 = Primary DNS 128.100.11.3 Secondary DNS 128.100.11.4
Server3 = Primary DNS 128.100.11.4 Secondary DNS 128.100.11.2

In case of a disaster one would cover the other one, etc.

Thanks

As long as your zone synchronization between DNS hosts is solid, there should be no problem. If my customer can't show me confidence in such a thing, then I tell them to just make sure all servers have the same DNS servers in the same order.
