DNS server was unable to open zone >> HELP!!!

Ouch! Basically i started getting this DNS error in the logs... I have sporadic internet and network connection. I've looked through the MS knowledge base. I've tried restarting DNS, flushing DNS and have recreated the zones. Im stuck and need help guys. What is wrong, and how do i fix it.

Check that the Active Directory is functioning properly and reload the zone. The event data is the error code.
