DNS Server update

Hi I get this error when trying to run ntwkreg used to add a new DNS entry to the primary DNS server (Solaris machine) from my desktop that is running Windows 2000, making use of X-Vision:

Attempted connection to X Server failed while trying to run ntwkreg

I have exported DISPLAY to my machine. Thanks.
