I've upgraded my Windows NT 4.0 server to an Windows 2000 Advanced Server and I keep get the following DNS-related error messagse:

record '_kerberos._udp.it2000.com. 600 IN SRV 0 100 88 number_two.it2000.com.' failed with the following error:
DNS server unable to interpret format.

11/24/2003 12:18:22 PM NETLOGON Error None 5774 N/A NUMBER_TWO Registration of the DNS record '_gc._tcp.it2000.com. 600 IN SRV 0 100 3268 number_two.it2000.com.' failed with the following error:
DNS server unable to interpret format.

11/24/2003 12:18:20 PM NETLOGON Error None 5774 N/A NUMBER_TWO Registration of the DNS record '_kerberos._tcp.it2000.com. 600 IN SRV 0 100 88 number_two.it2000.com.' failed with the following error:

How do I resolve this? I'm totally puzzled!

What kind of DNS server (and version) are you running? Sounds like your DNS server is unable to accept Dynamic Updates - which is a requirement of Win2k.
