DNS Root Hint - NT4

Hello,

I have a colleauge who is working on an issue as to why there is so many drops on the firewall port 53 from a DNS server. I have been told that he thins a root hint needs adding, but it keeps removing itself.

This is an NT4 O/S, has anybody had this before? and how did you resolve this?
