DNS redundant entries

My DNS server currently has many redundant entries in it for desktops with dynamic ip addresses. What do you think of enabling DNS Aging and Scavenging?
 
I think as long as the scavenging interval is not too short and also depending on how many hosts are being refreshed, it shouldn't be an issue
 
It works well for me. Just be sure that scavanging is blocked on any critical host records that are static and may not be "calling home".

I prefer to scavange manually from time to time rather then allow it to do it automagicly. This is probably just my parinoia kicking in.
