Hello all. I have a quick DNS question. We have been given about 10 ip addresses to use from a subnet that already has an Active Directory domain. Lets say their Active Directory domain is named "test.abc.local". We will be creating our own Active Directory domain and will have 2 domain controllers and 8 workstations. If we name our domain "beach.abc.local", there should be no DNS conflicts/resolution etc. between the test and beach domain, correct? The "beach.abc.local" domain will be a seperate forest. Thanks...

If they will be self-contained domains in their own forests, there shouldn't be a conflict, as long as the new workstations are pointing all their DNS queries to the beach.abc.local DCs.
