Can somebody help me configure 2 routers? I have a linksys befdsr41 which is an adsl gateway/modem/router/4 ports switch. Also i have a linksys wrt54g wireless broadband router.

The problem is that i can't keep my internet up. What i can see in the status tab of my modem is that the dns-part of the wan has all zeros. This happens each time i connect to my accesspoint (wrt54g) or when the accesspoint is unplugged.
I have tried several configurations but nothing seems to work. I probably misconfigured something.

The current configurations for the modem are:

wansetting = dynamic
iplan = 192.168.1.1
dhcp = enabled (starting from 192.168.1.100)
dynamic routing = both/rip1

The current configuration for the modem

wansetting = dynamic
iplan = 192.168.2.1
dhcp = enabled (starting from 192.168.2.100)
routing = gateway

Also the cat-5 cable from port 1 of the modem goes into the wan port of the accesspoint.

Can someone tell me if this is correct. If not please tell me how it should be, i'm struggling with this for weeks
