Heres the scneario....

I Have a 2000 DC(which is its own DNS server), 2 NIC's ,one on a 192.168 network used for backups only, one on the LAN.

In the hosts file, I have an additional entry for the second NIC (servername_bkp-192.168.1.200) But, It appears that there are 2 entries in DNS for the actual servername, so theres one for the 192.168 and one for the LAN address, and it seeems to be causing some browsing issues.

Is using Cnames or Alias names the way forward? Any help would be mondo appreciato.

Thanks
