DNS Problem

Hi,

I have just changed the nameservers for a domain I own to point to another host.

I have completed the transfer process on the new server and whois shows that the nameservers have been changed correctly.

When I try to connect to the domain or traceroute, I still get the old server.

Any ideas why???

Is it just a matter of waiting for the changes to update around the internet?

Please help me as this is driving me mad....

It usually takes a number of hours for the changes to propogate around the 'net - give it a bit of time, and it should be working fine.

Hi mate,

The nameservers were changed over 48 hours ago.

Never had this problem before....

After extensive searches to find out what is happening, I have found out that some places on the net are pointing to the correct nameservers so I guess it is just a case of waiting...
