DNS not resolving HOTMAIL or Yahoo login

I have Win2K3 server running AD, DHCP, DNS.
DNS is resolving normal web addresses but will not resolve hotmail or yahoo e-mail login address. Other secure login addresses are working. I think it is some sort of security issue but can't seem to find it. Any ideas where to look? Thanks in advance for any help.

Have you tried added it to your trusted sites?

It most likely is not a DNS problem. Use NSLOOKUP to see if you can resolve the hostname. If you can resolve, this isn't a DNS problem.

I would suspect web proxy or local IE settings.
