Hi,
I am using Windows XP and the Cisco VPN client 4.6.01.0019.
My company has a customer which we develop an application for. The application uses AS400 data queues on a machine that resides on the customers network.
On my local computer, when connected to the customer, I try to connect to the AS400 machine from my VB.NET program using iSeries (Interop.cwbx) and get the error message "CWBC01004 - remote address could not be resolved".
When I from the command prompt writes ipconfig /all I see that the customers DNS server name and ip address. I then enter nslookup and specifies "server 'customer-ip'". When I try to lookup the DNS server name I get query refused. I can't ping the DNS servers ip-adddress from the comand prompt either.
I am not sure I can describe the problem accurately but how would I resolve DNS names on the customers network from my computer on my companys network?
Grateful for answers
Best,
/M
