We have been using an ISA 2006 server as our VPN server for 2-3 years now. So far it has been working great. Recently I noticed a few of our users were having trouble resolving internal addresses while connected via VPN. For example, internal websites that would normally open to them wouldn't resolve. Instead, they would see an internet search result that said "the name zzzzz.ssss.zzz etc.... can't be found" Also noticed that Outlook wouldn't connect to our Exchange server. Now the problem is becoming more widespread. At first I thought it was their ISP that was doing something. now I am not so sure. How can I effectively trouble shoot? Has any one seen something like this before?

Thanks.

Keep in mind that to resolve internal dns addresses from outside the users will need to be using a internal dns server.

Sounds like this is almost certainly your problem.

What happens, when these users do nslookup on the internal web sites? Are you getting the correct internal IP? And, is the browser in use, configured to use proxy?

Cheers
