I have a web page that opens okay when I access it thru the Internet, however when I am inside on the intranet I cannot open the same page, I receive

The page cannot be found error

Any Ideas??

Thanks

Do you have your own dns server? Have you tried it via the ip or the computer that hosts it (if its sitting on the same router)

Is the web page in question on the inside of your LAN? Most firewalls won't allow traffic to go out to the internet if the destination actually resides inside your network.

What you'll need to do is host internal DNS and create a forward lookup zone that points to the internal IP address for the web server if it's inside your network.

Good luck.
