I run a website for a local club. An appropriate Google search when from page_1, to not there at all. When I went into Google's Webmaster Tools, I learned that Googlebot cannot get DNS information for my site. The website is there. According to Google, "Server Connectivity" and "Robots.txt Fetch" are okay.

I have contacted the people who put up the website, but they claim their stuff is working fine.

Based on some graphs on the Google Webmaster Tools site, everything tanked on August_9.

Does any of this make sense to anyone?

I realize that the message you got mentioned DNS, but to me, that sounds more like an SEO and/or web design issue than a DNS issue.

DNS issues for you would be more-like your ability to connect to sites from your computer. For issues pointing to YOUR site, those would be SEO (talking about Google Analytics and Google not being able to get to your site, basically), then that sounds primiarly like an SEO question, 2ndarily web design.

I mention web design in case you cannot get what you need in the SEO forum.
