Recently, I have been getting All these "Page could not be displayed.....DNS Error" on my IE5.5 SP2, on a Windows 2000 Professional SP2. I don't use any Proxy settings.
I have the following networking settings-
56K Internal Modem- used for dialling out to the Internet
LAN Card for connecting to another PC of mine with a Crossed-over UTP Cat 5 cables. This is left unplugged at the time of getting these errors.
Note, I have already hardcoded the DNS Server IP addresses of my ISP into the Networking->TCP/IP Section of the DUN used and that for the LAN Card.
I am 99.9% sure there is nothing wrong with my connections, because at the time of the incidents, I could connect concurrently on the same site/page using Netscape 4.79.
What is wrong??
(Btw, I don't want to try using IE6 either, as it is not properly 'released' yet!)
