Problem: We have SecurClient's connecting to our FW/VPN, which we have the DNS working if they use the entire domain name for what they are trying to get to. AKA, server.leesbrugregional.org. If they try to resolve the servername without leesburgregional.org, then it does not seem to be sending the request over the connection for resolution. If they set the IP properties on their home PC to be a member of leesburgregional.org, then they can get to the site by just servername, becuse their PC appends the leesburgregional.org on the end.

Is there any way we can have them ping (or whatever) the servername without the domain addition on the end or the change to their IP properties?

The only success I had with this was using WINS. Adding the domain WINS enteries manually to the clients IP config. AJ
