We have a Win2k server running DNS sever + we've been having problems where pinging internal pc names it resolves it as an external site!
have just checked the dns server and compare it with another server we have and it seems to be missing the following directories : _msdcs, _sites, _tcp, + _udp.
Also there's no record on any of the pcs on the network as you'd expect. I've removed + reinstalled the dns service but these files still don't appear! How do we get them back?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated
