I have just installed a windows 2000 server, I want to to know how should I configure DNS and DHCP. I will be thankful, if someone can explain step-by-step.

You need to make your server use active directory. You should be able to do that by running "dcpromo" at the run command in the start menu. Once you are using active directory, you can install DNS and DHCP. Once they are installed, you should find the related consoles in your Administrative Tools folder in your start menu:programs folder. If you dont see and administrative tools folder, go into start:settings:taskbar and start menu, then click the advanced tab, and check the first option at the bottom. Once you have installed DNS and DHCP, it is relatively easy to set up. Just right click the various components in the left pane of the related consoles to find out what options you have available to you. If you need further assistance, I will help you more if you e-mail me at randaccss@hotmail.com.

To install DNS and DHCP use the add Windows components in control panel/add remove programs.
