having trouble getting bind 9.1.0 to run on my redhat 7.1 server. I have run previous versions but not 9.1. I have set up all the zone files for localhost and my domain. ( Rivendell.com localhost and the the two reverse address files. named has been restarted. all files have been checked by serveral utilities and nothing with the files seems to be in error. I know this is a big subject but would appreciate a walk thru of the major steps that must be completed to make dns run .. been at it for over 3 days now and am now downloading a nother copy of bind in case there wa something wrong wit the last one. Im not resolving any host names to ips and can only getresolving when I use my host file. any thoughts or pointers on this daunting subject would be greatly appreciated

thanks in advance for your help
