Looking for someone to help me find the simple setting I'm overlooking. I have a Symantec 200R Firewall/VPN setup, and am using the Symantec Client software to connect to network. Tunnel connects great, I can ping everything on the network using IP and/or netbios name (resolution occurs), remote computer registers in WINS, and DNS on the server. I am also able to run programs using SQL server, manage my servers using Terminal services and connect to Exchange server and Instant Messaging.
Problem - if I try to explore the network, all computers show up in network neighborhood, but if I try to connect to the computer (server for eg.) I get an error message saying that no logon server is available. This is also an intermittent problem as have been able do this in the past.
Have also found that if I log onto remote terminal using local signon rather Domain signon, I am able to browse network with no problem.
Everything is W2K - servers and workstations.
Any idea's?

Hi,
I had a problem with network browser.
I think you should restart netlogon service in your workstation which can't connect to server. Sometime, it works incorrectly. I hope helpfull.
