Hi All,

Would anybody be able to tell me the configuration required on the Succession, and also the configuration on the Symposium Express for the use of DNIS.

I thnk i have the setup correct, but the calls into the number i have created seem only to be going to the default ACD queue of the sets, and no being proccessed by the Symposium.

Thanks for your time,

Sean.

In the PBX you have to setup an IDC table in LD 49. In that table you program a DNIS to "point" to an extension in the PBX. In order for that IDC table to work, when you program the route data block for your trunks, you have to indicate IDC table you want the route to reference.

To get calls from the DNIS into Symposium, you point the DNIS in the IDC table to a CDN that's acquired in Symposium. The DNIS table in Symposium is provided so you can name the DNIS so agents will be able to tell what number was dialed by the caller.
