Hello, I am a question and am wondering if someone can point me in the right direction.

I have a CDN which is all working, but I have had a request that when calls are passed to the CDN through the Meridian Option 11c from 1 external company the call need to hit the CDN but only be placed to one of two agents. The reason being is that these calls are very important and can only be handled by the two top sales agents.

I was wonder if it was possible to somehow idenifty these calls ie through DNIS, and then pass them to the agent through the Script directly. Is this possible?

Thanks

Yes this is easily possible. But why not give this customer their own unique CDN to dial into?

DNIS would not identify the caller, their Caller ID would you could script
If (CLID = XXXXXXXXXX) THEN
QUEUE TO SKILLSET VIP_sk WITH PRIORITY 1
Wait 2
GIVE RAN you_are_special_gv
END IF

This would only work if you are receiving CLID
the agents you want to answer these calls would be the only agents assigned to this skillset.
From Scripting NTP

DNIS would identify the caller if they were given a unique number to call since they would be the only customer calling it.

CLID would be unsuccessful if it is withheld, unavailable or the customer calls from a different number.
