I have a customer who has a PRI and is receiving 3 digit DNIS from the provider. The digit 8 is used for outbound access and the leading DNIS digit for the DID's is 9.
The customer needs to add some inbound numbers to the PRI, but the leading digit would be an 8 if using 3 digit DNIS. So my question is this:
Should I change to 4 or 5 digit DNIS to avoid a digit conflict with my destnation code or can I drop/insert digits in my routing tables to overcome the dial 8 or dial 9 as my primary outbound destination code?
