Does anyone know the pinouts or how to program multiple music sources if I have the DNIC Music-on-hold/ Paging Unit? If my memory serves me correctly you can have up to 50 music sources and 9 paging zones but I don't remember how to program it because I can't find the book. I know you have to do something in form 18 but I also don't have the pinouts so if anyone else knows I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

On the MX the MOH is on a 1/8" phono jack on the back panel of the MX.
Program in form 18 to 1/13/29/01
The input signal must be between 10 to 100 mVrms and any DC voltage less than 50 VDC.
If you have a MOH/Paging unit the input pair is pair 7.

I know i have a MOH/Paging or DMP and one of the crabby managers wants his OWN music because he doesn't like the one we have for everyone else. I don't use the little jack I like to use the DMP for everything and from what I read I believe i need to have a DNIC port for each source. I've already programmed a dnic port in form 9. My trouble is with the pinouts. number 7,32 is where the first one is and 25,50 is the DNIC out port so where do I put additional sources? It doesn't say on the sheet I have, just says that you can do it though. OR maybe you can only do it with a MOH/ paging module(universal card) but I don't really know what that is. You have to be able to do it with this otherwise I don't know why they would make it for just 1 music source.

I would use the DMP for the system music and program in form 18 and for the "crabby manager" use the the ons port. Ons ports can be music ports, program the port first then connect the music in that order, the set description will change to "altms" in form 9. Then go to the tenant of the manager and program that port from form 9, in his tenant form 19 under "music sourses for this tenant". If he doesn't already have one make him a different tenant.

no the dmp only has one input for music, but you can use the ons ports for more music sources with your software. Do you have spare ons ports? You really wouldn't even need the dmp for a music source.
A moh paging module goes on a Universal card that goes in a slot in a peripheral bay. These cards go back to the SX-200 digital days but can still be used today if you have one. If you have spare ons ports that would be the cheapest way to go.

why in the heck did my dealer make me get a DMP then if it only uses 1 music source. well we got it when it was a sx200ML maybe that was the only way?

The ML/EL originally used the Universal card and a moh module, but in your case with a ICP the "ons music" did not work until feature level 4, maybe that is why. In either case if you had a Universal card and moh module it would work with the ICP if you have a peripheral slot to install it in.
