A client has a 2010 that keeps changing it extension off of DND by it self after you put it on using softconsole.

I suspect user intavention, try the following
Creat user ShortCodes *00 & *09 & set them both to feature Busy, this will stop the user canceling DND from the handset
Another possibility is a CFG change is beeing made using a config that was taken BEFORE the user was put on DND
Allways open a fresh CFG befor making changes rather than opening the last offline copy to reduce the risk of this happening
