What do i need to do to get DND to go to voicemail instead of going to the receptionist (primeset). the ksu is a 0x32 with 4.1 software. If person has their phone on do not disturb the calls are going back to the receptionist. Then she has to send them to voicemail manually. Or the employee has to call forward their phone. Any sugjestions.

Kgrant:

Find out what DN your VM is on. I think it's FEATURE 984 and it'll tell you what number it is.

From a 7324 or 7310 phone:

1) Press FEATURE * * 2 6 6 3 4 4
2) Enter Password: 2 6 6 3 4 4
Display will read: " Terminals & Sets"
Using the navigation keys, as displayed below, follow the next simple steps:
3) Press: SHOW
Display will read: "Show Set"
Enter the extension number that you want to change
4) Press: SHOW
Display will read: "The extension number and the current name"
5) Press: SHOW
Display will read: "Line Access"
6) Press: NEXT
Display will read: "Capabilities"
7) Press: SHOW
Display will read: "Fwd no Answer"
8) Press: SHOW
Display will read: "Forward to: ___"
Enter the directory number the VM is on.

Good luck.

How about setting the station to call forward to the vm # instead of dnd. that way all calls to that station will go directly to his vm box.
if you change his dnd button to cf and put a speed dial to vm right under it, just takes two buttons instead of one.

or you can do a feature 984 ...which is forward to voicemail

Back in my original post, if you continue, there should be a 'Foward on Busy' option. Change from none to your DN and when the user is busy the system will transfer directory to VM without ringing on the customer side.

But remember trns on busy will also trns if he is on intercom. I find trns on busy more trouble than its worth.

The problem these people do not want to have to do more then pushine one button. The comdial system they previously had the only had to push DND and would go to vmail not two buttons. They are pishing me off but I am trying to work around it at the same time.

Under what scenario are the calls going back to the receptionist? It should not do that fromm AA. If it is the receptionist transfering them originally, give her a cap/klm so that she see's they are DND'd.

Also- feat984 works for NAM and call pilot, but I dont think it does for flash.
