Can someone tell me how to remove the DND recall of a line transfered to an extension in DND and make the call follow the Busy call forward instead of the No answer call forward?

The only setting I see in capabilties about DND is DND on busy

This option sets the number of ring before callback but the extension is in DND and I want it to go directly to VM instead of ring back to the extension that transfered the call

Then set the CFNA and or FWD busy to the VM extention. Feature 985 will tell you the VM DN.

Those CFWD are already programmed. Look like the system don't follow the busy CF when the extension is in DND mode

No it dosen't it just turns of the audio/ringing on the phone , the caller still hears the ringing and the lines flash then CFNA takes over..

I prefer to set only the CFNA to avoid problems with line appearances going to VM instead of AA.

make sure that you have 2 intercom appearances on the phone. one for talking on and one to forward to VM.

DND just tells the phone to shut up, not how to direct calls. The operative conditions are busy, and no answer.

Thanks all my client will send call directly to voicemail using F986

Jeffs' little trick may be a bit confusing from the customers standpoint (and to those attempting to obtain tech support on the real DND feature, 85) but F984 is actually a great way to let the customer get the most out of their system without blowing their minds on all the details. I fake DND buttons like that all the time myself because it's far more practical than just turning off the ringer and making all of those impatient callers wait another 4 to 6 rings for voice mail. It's what DND really should do as far as I'm concerned and most customers seem to think so too.

This is a great idea. I install and program Toshiba CIX normaly and with this system if DND is on the caller follow the Busy call forward so I was a bit confused
