DND override DSS mwi?

I have a Magix R4. Operator has an MLX20l and DSS.
Question 1: Can the operator override a DND with an ICM call?

Question 2: Can the operator see Message Waiting indication on the DSS? The pamphlet says the DSS can only see internal messages. I thought this could be changed.

yes with a barge-in call
from a coverage receiver to a sender with dnd on
