OK, I am puzzled. Basic Magix 4.0 with Merlin Messaging. Operator 100 is the zero destination for both AA day and night as well as system wide operator. They put on DND and any private line assigned to the phone acts as you would expect with DND.

however, a call on the main greeting still rings the full 4-5 rings before going to vm and it is still ringing at the phone! I checked to see if DND is in fact the button, did a print, see status of it on, the rings and it blinks green. I have never seen a phone ignore DND??? I am pretty sure I deleted and re-did it, they have cycled it on and off, no avail. We have a night button on as well, but I wouldn't think that would matter. I always thought DND silenced all ringing on the phone regardless. it is the only operator, slot 1 port 1. 4424LD+. Pots lines, key mode. In on SA key. Not line button.

Any thoughts???

It may be that the call answer service operator in the mail is programmed as 768 as default. The Merlin sees this as an invalid extension and sends the call to the first operator.

Possibly if you change the extension number of call answer service operator to the actual extension number it may work.

Sorry for the delayed update. It is in fact the operator being 768. In this mail, I have set the day and night dial 0 actions twice to option 3 where you can put in the extension of your choice, but for some reason, it reverts back to 768 every so often. I had the system parameters operator correctly set to another number as this is a multi tenant environment, but have since got everyone to agree on one operator for all attendants and now have 0/Timeout set to "operator" instead of a specific extension. All is well.

Thank you all!
