Anybody expeiance this below?

When agent log on to the phones (DT2030) the DND maybe on, when pressing the DND button, nothing happens, or when pressing the group button to go into group/out of group nothing happens, the dot on the phone is always on.
Same with the DND, the dot goes off, but the phone is still on DND.

Also at the same time as this problem, we cannot get into the config either. (manager version 4.1 (27) We can get as far as entering the password, we enter the password, the bottom status shows that the config is receiving, after a few moment shows that the config is not received.

Cannot get into config over ISDN, or locally.
Other notes, we do not use phone manager, problem happens when there are no PC on the network.
Power off and power on the IP Office then everything woks fine for a day or so.
Happens to users on either DT modules
They have the full CCC call centre software

We factory defaulted the unit via hype terminal, sent the bin file via the cable, re wrote the whole config using manage version 4.1 (27), but are still having the same problem.

Any ideas? Thanks

I assume you are using vmpro. If so, you are most likely using 2.1 10. If so upgrade to 2.1 14. I'm told by Avaya that this is one of the issues with vmpro 2.1 10. You get locked out from pulling configs and do not disturb stops working I have also had problems with call forward all not shutting off when pressing the call forward all.

VM Pro V2.1.10 is definitly the cause of the problem
this is known as TFTP lockup.
A quick "Fix" is ro reboot the IPO (this can be done remotly if necessary) but the problem will return

I cannot see a relation between a VM Pro and not to be able to read a config from a IP Office.
The problem of this may be programming faults in the IP Office. Usually multiple names, illegal characters and such things.
I suggest to do a config check with the Wizard first and then set a trace with the sysMon tool for a day or two.
Maybe there is a hardware fault.

Intigrant this is a knon issue.
It is listed in the release notes for V2.1(27) & VMP 2.1.14

In simple terms the VMPro swamps the IPO with TFTP requests & locks out The TFTP service in the IPO.
This prevents downloads/uploads & allso affects users making changes from handsets.

Upgrade to VMPro 2.1.14 & the problem will be resolved
