Hello out there!
Does anybody know a solution on how to synchronise more than one site at a time with MDS?
A way to set a timer to have this done automatically at night would also be helpful.
Any hints are welcome!

Hi GandhiII!

Maybe this would help you?

In RDS Configuration/schedules.
Create a new schedule called "MD Synk Site 1"
Using the following command line "X:\DNA_S\SHARE\BIN\MDS.EXE /SITE:1".
Set the time to whatever you want and check all the tree options below.

Then create a new schedule called "MD Synk Site 2"
Using the following command line "X:\DNA_S\SHARE\BIN\MDS.EXE /SITE:2".

Set the time so that it dont interfer with the site 1 synk.

I have not tested this but in "teori it should work"... ;-)

This does work. I have tried it. As MDPro says, make sure that the time between sites is sufficient so that two sites do not sync at the same time.
Make sure that you select the tick box to run job as currently logged on user.

Hi MDPro and eriuser!
Thanks for the tips. In fact I have a tool that waits for one site to finish before it starts another. Still I would like to synchronise more sites at a time and I still have problems scheduling the synchronisation (what is RDS?).

Any ideas?
