Hi
We are running a single DNA server with about 90 MD110 nodes and OWS on each node. The server itself is very fast , dual 2.4 GHz Pentium 4 with several GB:s of memory.
We use GICI ports over WAN from DNA server to each node, WAN is Frame-relay IP network.
We experience at periods not too good performance regarding the DNA-MD110 diversion messages and are evaluating 2 possible topologies as we don't know yet what is causing the bottleneck , either the amount of GICI ports or the amount of OWS clients connected to the server.
For the first problem we evaluate several DNA server solution (2,3 or 4 DNA servers).
For the second problem we evaluate using several LDS servers instead in addition to the DNA server , The OWS clients are distributed among the LDS servers.
The sites itself does not contain many extensions. 90 % of them have extensions ranging from 20-100. One site is about 800 extensions.
Hope anyone have experienced similar configuration and may assist us ?
Best Regards
