DNA-License-Problems

Hallo,

this is part of DNA5.2-Licens. The question ist, how many OWS can I use. Answer: only 4. But for what is then the second line?

sorry, read your post then got to the qty 2 !

pass on that,

but also a little tip. Dont forget that is only for the MD bit, the license software on the DNA needs to be enabled as well

if you already know this, then apologese !

Ordering Information for DNA says:

FAL 104 0054 R1
D.N.A. OWS License for one concurrent user

This license covers all of the functions/features available for OWS:
- Handling of more that one D.N.A. Server
- Customizing the OWS configuration
- Accessing LDAP Servers
The license is per concurrent user.



The Curious

I have recently upgraded a system from 5.1 to 5.2 and also wondered about these licenses... The following licenses was listed in License Manager:

3 FAL1040031R1 DNA OWS UPGRADE 3.X/4.X TO 5.0
4 FAL1040054R1 DNA OWS CONCURRENT USER

I thought I had only 4 licenses for OWS, but the customer has ordered 7 all-in-all. After the installation, I could logon to 7 OWS at a time. So these licenses was added together.
