DNA 5.1 Client server connection problem

Hi I am using DNA 5.1 on W2K sp4 sql 2K sp3 with NT4 and XP clients. since installing sp4 for w2K I get errors on the clients "Cannot retrieve local database username and password format, contact you administrator". This looks like an authentication problem but I'm not sure where to look or what to change. eg the DSN's in the ODBC or what have you. Nothing else has changed except sp4 for the sever?

I solved this by changing the LFS service on the clients to use a domain account instead of a local system account.

Hi,

The problem is that in w2k SP4 the named pipes connection don't exist anymore,so you need to install an hotfix to DNA 5.1 wich is the same hotfix to DNA5.0, to support W2k SP4 , i think it is hot fix 801 or somethig like that.
