Even though it's not common, a customer requested an internal DN length of 2 on a MICS system. This unit has MICS 5.0 software. It seems that you don't have a choice of making 2 digit DNs at startup. The system is not expanded, just the core. The 5.0 CD says internal numbers can be two to seven digits. Probably an error in the Documents. On the chance I'm wrong though, can you put 2 digit on a MICS 5.0 system?

On the MICS the lenght is 3-7 digits. Only the CICS can be 2 digits. Sorry about that. The customer is going to have to live with a 3 digit system. Richard S. McCranie

Thanks, though I believe on lower MICS software you can do it.
