Hello!

Why is that when I active dn-dst and somebody call.. the caller get a busy signal.

Thanks in advance!

dn-dst stands for Do not Disturb
Don't push it unless you do not want to be bothered.
If this never happens, remove the button.

So, the busy signal is what I should expect to hear?

Thanks!

If the station has no coverage path, yes, you will get a "busy signal". If it has a coverage path, it will probabably go to voice mail.

Yes, the station has coverage path to voicemail. but get busy signal is has the dn-dst active. If I have SAC it works fine, but I want to be able to use dn-dst. Any ideas/

Thanks!

sounds like you have your answer. Use SAC for coverage to VM, or set DN-DST if you never want the call to even ring in...

Yes, I know it should even ring but should go to VM anyway.. right?

Sorry, I wanted to say... I know it shouldn't ring but should go to VM. right?

If the coverage path is setup properly it should go to cover. What does the cover path look like? THere is a DND flag on the cover path. I've had issues with DND in the past. Don't like it for this very reason and use SAC instead.

Cover
Must be assigned before a user can activate Do Not Disturb (Hospitality
Services), Send All Calls (SAC), or Go to Cover features. Allows a calling
user, when calling to another internal extension, to redirect a call
immediately to coverage by pressing a Go to Cover button. Allows a
principal temporarily to direct all incoming calls to coverage, regardless of
the other assigned coverage criteria by pressing the Send All Calls (or
Do Not Disturb) button. Send All Calls also allows covering users to
temporarily remove their telephones from the coverage path.
