DN display when being transferred

programmed a 3903 set with DDGD (dn display on other set Denied) and when I call another set and ask to transfer me to the set that has the DDGD it appears for a brief second and goes to dashes.

is there a way to get rid of the delay? i want to be able to keep that number unpublished so that callers can utilize the help desk more often rather than calling directly.

no because the number is being dialed and displays as dialed until the transfer takes it away.. same as if someone dials the 4 digit number, after the last number is dialed the display turns off. had the same thing on ext 7711, i used a name 7777, when that shows up the person calls back the 7777, menu service, i also put 7711 in the idc table to translate it to 7777 from outside callers
