Hey Everyone,
We have a BCM50 2.0 and we have the Automated Attendant attendant answer calls after 4 rings when our receptionist is unable to answer the phone.
When the AA answers, we have a CCR Tree configured with a menu with the following options:
1 for sales (Transfers to extenstion 2230)
2 for support (Transfers to extension 2235)
3 to leave a message (Mailbox 1000)
I would like to add the ability for a caller to dial an extension if they know the extension number (which will be mostly used by co-workers and family). To accomplish this, we've tried using "backdoor" number using the AA (with no CCR tree assigned). However we would prefer if we could use this with our main number and the existing CCR tree in place. The problem is once a CCR tree is applied, we lose the ability to dial an extension.
So, does anyone know if it is possible to configure callpilot to allow the caller to dial an extension when a CCR tree is configured for the AA?
Thanks.
