DN beeps every minute with nothing on the display

We noticed today that one of our DNs is beeping every minute - exactly. It's the same tone as one that is received when a call comes in when you are on DND.

Does any one know why this is happening? How do I resolve this strange problem?
 
It might be, "On-hold reminder". Try and clear all calls off the DN.

There are no lines on hold.

The DN has been unpluged and replugged in with no resolution.

The problem started apparently spontaneously over the weekend. I cannot think of a cause. No changes were made to the BCM.
 
Try disabling and reenabling the port, under Maint.

There is no maintenance folder anywhere in the element manager.
 
Check for a stuck button, I have seen this happen
before with a stuck "Call Forward" button. The phone
thinks that the button has been pushed and then beeps
when it thinks you've waited too long to enter a destination.
Then the process starts all over again.

Thanks for all of your help. It turns out that the user was logged into call center over the weekend. Once the user logged out of call center the beep stopped.
 
the new release 3 software allows you auto login the agent if make busy is timed out after a set peroid and provides a warning tone..

Check the skillset for this option to disable it
