DMX-3 Port Bypass Cards?

Does the Symmetrix DMX-3 contain port bypass cards, as the DMX-2 2000 does? If not, how do the DAs communicate with the drives?

DMX 3 has no pbc or port bypass card it uses LCC or link control cards like in DMX 800 or RMS boxes to communicate with the drives
